Wandle auf Rosen und Vergissmeinnicht / Walk on Roses and Forgetmenots
Braunschweig Landesmuseum, Germany, 2016
This exhibition was the result of a year long period of fieldwork in the Braunschweigisches Landesmuseum. The show presented new works alongside objects from the museum's collection concerned with the understandings of desire and courtship. Some objects can represent not just historical desires, but contemporary ones too, highlighting our continuing fascination with the transparency of human sensuality, sexuality and ritual.
